Metroid Paralyzer

It's finaly done! While there's always room for improvement, I'm really happy with how this turned out.
First we sprayed the whole thing with a silver enamel, then went over with a brush over the dark parts of the gun, whith a dark shade of steel. Then we painted the handle, also by hand, and proceeded to add some realism to the gun.

I tried an inkwash, but it just didn't work right, so I just smeared a little black and brown over where grime should accumulate. I just smeared it in and wiped the excess away with a paper towel. I also drybrushed the edges with silver paint, to give it an used look.
